CSKA has certainly done well to pose a challenge against Barca on last season's final four matchup. However, they are out after only the first round this season, so Barca would have to meet a new contender and beef up their game if they wanted to defend that title. It won't be easy but hopefully some of the key players they lost at the start of the season will be healthy to go back and play in time for the crucial rounds.

Wildest Lakers sports fan right here. From the time Magic Johnson was with the Lakers, till the Kobe days, I've been a devotee. Zero of that bandwangon bull from me! I knew they would take the championship this year. 2 seasons consecutively. Can you even claim that destiny? I think those who calls that luck is out of their judgment. Lakers are the champions, and will perpetually be the champions. Special honorable mention to Most Valuable Player Kobe Bryant. Felicitations Lakers!

Bobby... After thinking about it... the Foye and Gomes signings are solid for the Clippers. Bledsoe is going to be nice too.. guess he'll be in he back court with Foye in the second unit barring any other signings. I just have a feeling the Cook signing has marked the end of the Clippers' free agent spending.

They just paid Mike Miller. I don't think they can afford or have room for J.J. now.

As for the other J.J. (Joe Johnson), the Atlanta Spirit Group just want to maintain their team's current status. They are working on bringing in Shaq... which I would love as a business move... and while he can't shoot free throws and way past his prime, he's a big body that's still efficient on offense and can give you 20 minutes and 6 fouls.

Yo, I think J.J. Redick would be a nice pick up for the Heat. I believe he's a free agent and won't require a huge contract. He would definitely be a floor spacer off the bench and proved last year that he give you solid minutes on a championship contenting team. Joe Johnson's contract was ridiculous. I don't see how the Hawks improve, unless they sign some other players. They essentially have the same team from last year.

Mike Miller would be a nice pick-up, but obviously they need more players. I'll have to pour throw the remaining free agent list to see who would come on the cheap. Most likely a veteran trying to win a ring.

The march was full-blown fun! I'm so cheerful the lakers robbed the championship though, it was unbelievable getting pushed around for the whole afternoon to participate with them. It was also a good on their part to pay for the celebration. California and particularly LA is in such serious trouble financially

Didn't touch on the Raps at all. Bosh looking to leave town, Hedo claims that he wants out of town, Calderon and Jack fighting for playing time, Amir Johnson looking for a raise (does he replace Bosh). Brian Colangelo has an interesting offseason ahead of him. I'd say more so than some of the other teams you mentioned.

Joey Graham showed some value in the playoffs as a possible energy guy off the bench. I would keep an eye on him.
